She’s an incredible Danielle Defiore Photographyhybrid photographer and very talented with shooting creative images in both film and digital! We can’t wait to work with her on some amazing weddings in 2015! Take a moments to get to know her better by reading below!

How did you get your start in the industry?

I started my photography business shortly after arriving in Colorado back in 2007 but I began learning about photography in highschool. I graduating from art school studying editorial and fine art photography in 2001 and took commissions for weddings, portraits and travel photography on and off from 2001 to 2006. It’s a bit crazy to think that I have had camera in hand for the last 18 years. I still have the images from my very first ever roll of film which I have hanging in my office.

      Favorite thing about your business?

By far, it’s documenting the important moments for my clients and showing time and place in their lives. I also love that photography is both technical and creative all wrapped into one. I think finding the balance in this day and age between past and present, film and digital-creates the uniqueness to my style..

What are your favorite wedding trends right now?

I have so many favorites to choose from but a current love of mine is the darker environments coupled with lighter floral arrangements and decor. The contrast is beautiful. I also love that couples that are choosing unique locations for wedding celebrations. Thinking outside the box creates a distant flavor to an event.

Describe your own personal wedding style.

My own wedding style can be described as a day filled with the ambient glow of the Colorado light. I love vibrant colors like reds, blues and greens. If I had to renew our vows, I would get married on our acreage just north of Fort Collins.

What is one thing you tell all your brides-to-be?

Hold the space in which you first became engaged. Planning a wedding is excited but it also can be a lot of work. In the end it’s about you and your partner and celebration of your union.I’d also recommend hiring vendors that you trust. Good professionals will take care of you and allow you to enjoy your day to the fullest.Wedding photographer fort collins
