Katie and Marcus were high school sweetheart whose love blossomed into a beautiful marriage! Katie and Mark wanted to have a wedding that was focused on their family, friends and god. What a wedding they had!
On the wedding day, it was drizzle and rainy. Katie really wanted to be married outside in front of the beautiful tree, so we worked with the caterer and held off setting up until we had to. Luckily the drizzle subsided and we were able to hold the wedding outside! Katie was so beautiful as she walked down the aisle in her one of a kind dress and her dad on her arm!
The unique vignettes on each table added vintage touches with the soft colors of blush, creams, and grays. And a fun popcorn bar was a hit all night long!
The party moved outside do the guests could dance under the market lights. And boy did they dance! The groomsmen, outfitted in their best sweatbands, definitely showed their moves on the dance floor and her mom, Julie, was the one who got the party started! I don’t think I have ever seen a Mother of the Bride dance as much as Julie did! Some weddings you walk away saying “what a fun wedding” and when your wedding planner can say that, you know it was a good time!
